PuMu Disc Golf Special
Finnish Baseball X Disc Golf
Puna-Mustat invites all disc golf enthusiasts to the PuMu vs. Simon Kiri match on Saturday, July 26 to discover Finnish baseball, meet top coaches, and test their own skills.
The event begins at 2:30 PM at Meilahti Sports Park in Helsinki. The game starts at 4:00 PM.
Schedule
2:30pm – 3:30pm
- Come meet the head coach of Finland’s national disc golf team, Joonas Merelä, and professional player Heidi Laine. Test your throw using a TechDisc smart disc and get detailed data on your form with guidance from the pros. Take part in the throwing competition – the hardest throw wins!
- PuMu’s coaches will be on site to share tips on the Finnish baseball throwing technique. Step up to the throwing station to test your skills and measure your throw speed. Once again – the hardest throw wins. Which one flies faster, a baseball or a disc? Come find out!
4pm
- The Men’s First Division pesäpallo match between Puna-Mustat and Simon Kiri is about to begin. During the game, concession stands and the beer garden will be open to all visitors. During the inning break, the audience is invited to take part in the Accuracy Throw Challenge.
After the game
The afterparty continues with karaoke. And here’s the twist: if this game breaks the attendance record for summer 2025, Juha Puhtimäki and Heidi Laine have promised to kick off the karaoke themselves!
Tickets
Tickets are available at the gate with a 5 € discount if you arrive with a disc golf disc (your own or one purchased on site).
Standard ticket prices for the event are 15 € / 10 €, and with a disc, the discounted price is 10 € / 5 €.
PuMu Westside Disc Special Edition
At the entrance, you can purchase a PuMu x Westside Discs special edition disc for just 5 €. This is a limited release available to the first 80 visitors, so make sure to arrive early!
